Sizing your wrist:
Our bracelet size is based on the inside circumference of the bracelet. To measure your wrist wrap a cord around your wrist and measure it against a ruler.
This bracelet is made from leather that is fairly stiff because of its thickness – our smallest wrist size is 7 inches. The bracelet should fit loose on your wrist but not enough to go fall over your hand. If you need a size other than those shown let us know.
If you watched Lord of the Rings, then the shapes of these runes might be familiar to you; Tolkein designed his Dwarven writing system based on Scandinavian runes. There are two types of these Scandinavian runes that are the most popular: Elder Futhark, which was actually used by Germanic tribes almost 2000 years ago, and Younger Futhark, which was used by the Vikings. Futhark is so named because of the first six letters of the alphabet: f, u, th, a, r, and k.
We’ve tried to remain true to the Vikings, so we’ve used Younger Futhark wherever possible, but because there are some letters missing from that alphabet, we have occasionally needed to venture into Elder Futhark to get a better English representation. If you’d like to learn more about this writing system, you can read the article on Wikipedia. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Younger_Futhark)
