Details: This is a Shamballa-style bracelet created with 5 large tiger's eye gemstone beads and black satin cord. The tiger's eye is a beautiful gemstone with a cat's eye center that shifts around to the angle of the viewer. These beads, 20mm long (parallel to the bracelet) and 16mm diameter, give the bracelet a total weight of 40 grams. They are beautifully shaped oval beads with a smooth high polish finish. Blue Ice Chainmaille Bracelet SLH Strava
Details: I wanted to create a wide chain maille bracelet, but didn't want it to appear dense or heavy. I used a modified 2-by-2 hexagon pattern to create spaces that would give the piece a lace-like appearance. I added some turquoise blue rings to brighten it with some spring color, and used them to create a crisscrossing pattern that adds additional flow within the piece.
