Item Description

24 Gauge Gun Metal Round Artistic Wire that is sold in a 20 yard roll. This wire is NOT a black wire but has a dark brownish bronzy gun metal coloring. Artistic Wire is a copper based soft tempered wire that has an enamel coating for tarnish resistance, chipping and peeling and is able to withstand wire wrapping techniques.

24 Gauge is a mid-size wire measuring approx 0.51mm diameter. This is a common gauge for wire wrapping and general wire work because it is thin enough to fit through most bead thread holes and yet strong enough to provide a good hold.

PLEASE NOTE: This wire cannot be used for electrical, welding or construction projects. It is for jewelry use only.
